How to start driving — step by step

What a fleet partner actually does

Uber and Bolt do not settle with a driver who has no passenger transport licence. That is why you drive on an extract from our licence, while we open and run your accounts in both apps. Driving is yours; documents, accounts and the weekly settlement are ours. The car can be your own or one from our fleet.

Step 1. Application

You leave your name and phone number. We call back the same day during working hours. Nothing else from you, it takes a minute.

Step 2. Conversation

The manager asks three things: whether you have a car, what documents you hold and when you want to start. On that basis we tell you exactly what will be needed in your case and how long it will take. If something is missing we say so straight away, not a week later. We speak Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and English. It takes 10–15 minutes on the phone.

Step 3. Documents

We collect the set, and what exactly depends on your situation. It takes from a few days to a few weeks, depending on what you already have.

• you have a Polish driving licence and legal residence — you will need a criminal record certificate, medical and psychological examinations and health and safety training
• a foreign driving licence — the exchange for a Polish one is added; this is the longest item and the place to start
• your residence status is unclear — we will tell you honestly whether you can work with it now, before you spend time on the rest of the paperwork
• you have your own car — additionally a licence extract for that car

Step 4. The car

Driving your own — we check the technical condition and prepare the extract; at the start you pay a 600 zł deposit for the extracts, returned after a month of work. Taking ours — we show what is available, you choose and sign the contract, the deposit is also 600 zł. This takes one day.

Step 5. App onboarding

We connect you to Uber and Bolt as an active partner of both platforms. We create the accounts — you do not need to work it out yourself. It takes 1–2 days.

Step 6. First ride

You get the car, the access details and your manager's contact. You set your own schedule. We settle weekly, and cash from rides is with you every day.

What you need — in short

You do not need your own business or taxi experience.

• age 20 and above
• a category B driving licence — Polish or exchanged for a Polish one
• legal residence in Poland

How long does the whole process really take?

If your documents are in order — a few days. If a licence exchange or residence paperwork is needed — a few weeks.

Do I have to come to the office?

Yes, when collecting the car and signing the contract. The office is in Katowice at ul. Mariacka 36/1.

What if I do not speak Polish?

Not a problem. Our managers speak Polish, Russian, Ukrainian and English, and we work through an interpreter in other languages.

Can I start with only a foreign driving licence?

Taxi work requires a Polish driving licence — that is the law. We help with the exchange and guide you through it step by step.

I already work with another partner. How do I switch?

Mention it in the first conversation — we will advise how to close your current obligations and when it is best to switch so you do not lose a week.
