For drivers
Night work as an Uber and Bolt driver
Prefer to drive in the evening, at night or at weekends? You set your own schedule — we do not assign shifts. We connect you to Uber and Bolt, handle the documents and settle up every week. Below is where Silesia is busy after dark.
You drive at the times you choose
You can drive only in the evenings, only at night or only on Fridays and Saturdays — you set your own schedule, with your own car or with a fleet car. We settle once a week, and cash from rides is with you every day.
Where it is busy after dark
We describe these places on our city pages — here is the short version.
- Katowice, ul. Mariacka — the main source of night-time demand in the city; on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays the rides are short but come one after another
- Katowice, Spodek and MCK — after a big concert or congress the whole Strefa Kultury spills onto the street within fifteen minutes
- Sosnowiec, ul. Małachowskiego — busy after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays
- Czeladź, Termy Rzymskie — the “Noce saunowe” sauna nights on Fridays and Saturdays draw people from neighbouring towns
- Chorzów, Stadion Śląski — after a big concert the traffic lasts for hours; the season is June, July and August
- Tarnowskie Góry — after 22:00 suburban rail connections all but disappear, and orders go to the apps
The airport at night
At Katowice-Pyrzowice airport, night flights mean demand around the clock, on weekdays too. Rides are long, and the rhythm is set by arrival and departure times, not rush hours. From Bytom, the closest of the conurbation’s large cities to the airport, you can take transfers early in the morning and late in the evening as well. The airport also has an official port taxi with its own rank — worth knowing before your first trip there.
Weekends and events
A big event changes a city for a few hours: people have to get there somehow and get back somehow. We collect concerts, matches and other events in the region in our events calendar, so you can plan your weekend instead of running into the crowds by chance. Check the date with the organiser before you set off.
What the cooperation costs
Our fee does not depend on the time of day you drive. With your own car you pay no rental and no deposit.
- CabVibe fee — 80 zł per week, with no commission on rides
- VAT on transport services — the 8% rate; a tax we pay to the tax office, not our earnings
- Uber and Bolt commission — their rules, the same at any partner
- fleet car — from 300 zł per week plus a refundable deposit of 600 zł
If something happens at night
Support for your car runs 24/7 — you have a manager and a contact group. Documents and settlements are handled 9:00–18:00. If your car goes in for repair, we give you a replacement car from our fleet for the time of the repair.
What we do not promise here
We do not claim that fares are higher at night: Uber and Bolt set the multipliers, and you see the current ones in the app. Nor do we promise any amount: the result depends on how many hours you drive and at what times. And we do not advise driving without rest.
What you need
- age 20 or over
- a category B driving licence — Polish or exchanged for a Polish one
- legal residence in Poland
- your own smartphone
- a car built in 2010 or later with five seats — or a car from our fleet
Can I drive only at night?
Yes. You set your own schedule.
Do you earn more at night?
We do not promise that. A Friday-to-Saturday night in central Katowice looks different from a Tuesday night. The earnings calculator shows roughly what is left from your week, and the drivers’ tips cover hours and places.
