For drivers
Where and when to drive to earn more
This is not theory. Below is advice from drivers who work with us and earn steadily, collected in September 2026. We promise no figure from it: everyone's result differs with the hours, the city and how they pick their orders.
Mornings 5:30–8:30, but not in the centre
People are heading to work and school, and the multipliers are good. Drivers advise starting on the outskirts rather than in central Katowice: Ruda Śląska, Świętochłowice, Siemianowice Śląskie, Zabrze, Chorzów — and taking a ride into the centre from there. Monday after the weekend is often the best day.
Do not take the first order you see
Wait for a better one. Avoid orders with a long drive to the passenger, and do not be afraid to decline low-paying ones — the empty mileage eats the whole fare.
Around 10:00 — head for a hospital
That is when patients are discharged and go home. It does not matter whether it is Katowice, Ruda Śląska or Zabrze.
11:00–15:00 — the quiet stretch
Demand drops in the middle of the day. Experienced drivers simply go for lunch and rest instead of burning fuel while waiting.
15:00–15:30 — office buildings and public offices
People finish work and rates go up. It is worth driving to the city hall or an office building in Katowice. The catch: rates and traffic rise together.
16:00–18:00 — the worst traffic
During those hours you stand still in Katowice. One driver puts it plainly: leave for another city and do several rides there instead of one in a jam.
Where not to go in the afternoon
This is personal experience rather than a rule: some drivers avoid afternoon rides towards Sosnowiec, because the way out of Katowice gets blocked. It is easier to catch a ride towards Tychy, Mikołów, Ruda Śląska or Zabrze.
Pyrzowice airport — how the queue works
When you bring a passenger to the terminal you get priority in the queue for about fifteen minutes. After that you wait in the airport car park, which is paid. If no order comes in that time, drive out and wait in the zone marked on the map in the app; parking outside the zone drops you from the queue. A place in the queue guarantees nothing: the app takes the driver level into account and sometimes assigns rides at random. Check the parking rates and the queue rules in the app and on the airport website before you go — they change.
What this page does not do
We promise no figure and we do not advise driving without rest. Uber, Bolt and airport rules change — check the current ones in the app. We keep the regional events calendar separately; the link is below.
