Requirements — who can drive with us

The driver

We do not require your own business, taxi experience or advanced Polish.

• age 20 and above
• category B driving licence — Polish or exchanged for a Polish one; since 17 June 2024 a foreign licence is not enough for taxi work, we help with the exchange
• driving experience and care for the car — taxi experience is not required, we will teach you
• your own smartphone — the apps run on it
• courtesy toward passengers — app ratings translate directly into the number of rides

Documents

We help with every one of these. If all you have is a driving licence, that is a normal starting point — most people begin there.

• a category B driving licence
• a criminal record certificate
• medical and psychological examinations
• health and safety training
• legal residence in Poland (for foreign nationals)

The car, if you drive your own

Not sure? Send the make and year — we will check before the meeting so you do not travel for nothing.

• built in 2010 or later
• at least 5 seats — three people fit in the back
• 4 or 5 doors
• working air conditioning
• the car in good technical condition
• valid OC (third-party) insurance and roadworthiness test

What if something is missing

The most common situations and what we do about them.

• a foreign driving licence — we help exchange it for a Polish one; the exchange is possible after 185 days of legal residence in Poland; for a licence issued outside the EU the exchange includes the theory part of the state exam
• no medical examinations — we point you where they are done quickly
• no car — we rent one from our fleet, from 300 zł per week
• a car older than 2010 — we cannot take it into service, but you can drive ours
• under 20 years of age — that one we cannot work around

Can I drive without my own business?

Yes. Settlements run under our licence.

Do I need a passenger transport licence?

You need a licence extract — we arrange it. We hold 18 licences for 18 cities of Silesia. In Częstochowa, Opole, Kraków and Jaworzno you work on your own car.

I have a residence card — is that enough?

For legal work yes, but you also need a Polish driving licence.

Do you check criminal records?

Yes, it is a requirement for carrying passengers.

Who pays for the documents?

You collect the criminal record certificate yourself at the court — the fee is 30 zł. The psychological assessment and the drug test you do at a medical facility, also at your own cost, and you come with the documents ready. The rest of the paperwork is on us. With Uber you can start with the criminal record certificate alone.
