Closest to the airport

Twenty-odd minutes on the DK94 and you are at the terminal. For a driver that means airport transfers — long, well-paid rides — are within reach without crossing half the conurbation first. Living in Bytom, you can take them early in the morning and late at night, when nobody from the further cities will come out for them.

Bytom hosts the Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University of Silesia on ul. Piekarska, the Dance Theatre Faculty of Kraków's AST on ul. Piłsudskiego, and since 2022 a branch of Kyiv Medical University with around 700 students. Bytom is the only city on our list that took in an entire foreign university.
