FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything worth knowing before you start with Cabvibe. Didn't find an answer? Message us on WhatsApp.
Do I have to have my own car?
You don't. You can drive a car from our fleet or work in your own — both options are available. Either way you pay a refundable deposit at the start.
How long does legalization take?
It depends on your citizenship — from a few days to a few weeks. We guide you through all the formalities step by step.
Can I work part-time?
Yes. You set your own schedule and work as much as suits you — part-time included.
Do you arrange PESEL and NIP?
Yes, we arrange PESEL and NIP — without them you cannot work legally. We do not look for housing: you find that yourself.
How much can I earn?
It depends on the number of rides and your schedule. We settle weekly, you have cash every day, and we pay an extra bonus for hitting the ride plan. Exact terms are agreed in a conversation with your manager.
What are the requirements for a driver?
Age 20 and above, a category B licence, your own smartphone, driving experience and care for the car, and courtesy toward passengers.
Do you provide car insurance?
Yes. Cars from our fleet carry Polish OC (third-party liability) and AC (comprehensive) policies, and we service them at our own workshop in Silesia, so repairs go faster and without queueing.
Do you help with the residence card?
Yes. We support you in obtaining a residence card valid for 3 years as well as PESEL and NIP numbers, and then guide you along the path to citizenship.
Can I get a Polish driving licence?
Yes. We help you exchange a foreign licence for a Polish one and guide you through the whole procedure. The exchange requires residence in Poland — we check your situation before you start.
Do you help families?
No. We do not handle legalization for your relatives, school enrolment or social assistance. We take on everything related to your work and the documents for it.
What did the new regulations change for drivers?
Since 17 June 2024 a Polish driving licence has been required to carry passengers by taxi and for occasional passenger transport. A foreign licence has to be exchanged — we guide you through it so you keep working legally without a break.
I already work with another partner — can I switch to you?
Yes, and it is the most common case. You already have the licence and the experience, so the start is quick. We take over the paperwork, and the difference shows in daily work: our own service station, an office in Katowice you can walk into, and transparent weekly settlements.
What does the settlement consist of?
The CabVibe weekly fee, VAT on transport services charged separately and paid to the tax office, and the Uber and Bolt commission which they take themselves. If you drive a fleet car, the rental is on top. There are no other deductions and we settle once a week. The rates are on the pages about your own car and about rental.
How do I get a car from the fleet?
Tell us when you want to start and we will show you what is free. You pick a car, sign the agreement and pay a refundable deposit. It usually takes one day.
Do I need my own company?
No. You work on an extract from our licence; you do not need to register a business.
